Relámpago // Lightning

Esta noche, a pesar de estar en julio, me desperté por culpa de una fuerte tormenta llena de relámpagos, rayos y truenos. Al no poder volver a dormir, decidí intentar hacer alguna foto. Tras muchos intentos, sólo conseguí esta: // Last night, I woke up because of a thunder storm (even though we're on July!!). I couldn't go back to sleep so I tried to take some pictures of the lightning. After many tries, this is what I got:

El pasado jueves se celebró la graduación de 2º de Bachillerato del instituto I.E.S. Atenea en los Jardines Puente Cultural, San Sebastián de los Reyes. Allí actuó el grupo Same Old Fears // Last Thursday, the High School I.E.S. Atenea had its Senior Graduation. It was in the Jardines Puente Cultural (San Sebastián de los Reyes) and the band Same Old fears performed.

4 Torres de Madrid // Madrid's 4 towers

El otro día salí por primera vez por Madrid con mi nueva GoPro Hero 3+ y aproveché para hacer algunas fotos a las 4 torres de Madrid // A couple of days ago I went down to Madrid with my new GoPro Hero 3+ and I tried it out taking some pictures of the Madrid's 4 towers

2º premio concurso de fotografía // 2nd place at a Photography Contest

Hace un par de semanas envié tres fotos a el IV Concurso de fotografía, organizado por la Red Joven Norte de Madrid. Con tan buena suerte que me llamaron para decir que había ganado el segundo premio!!!!! //

A couple of weeks ago, I submitted 3 pictures to a Photography Contest, hosted by the north region of Madrid. I was then told that I'd won the 2nd position!!

La ceremonia de premios se celebró en Algete el pasado viernes 28 de marzo // The organization, which hosted the contest, gave me the 2nd position award last March 28th

El premio consistía en una subvención económica, que lo he decidido invertir en la fotografía, y me he comprado una GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition!! // The award was a fair amount of money and I decided to invert it into photography. So I bought myself a GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition!!

El uso de esta cámara está más enfocado a grabar en alta calidad, pero también haré fotos y subiré alguna a este blog, asi que estad atentos!! // The main purpose of this camera is to take very high quality videos. However, I will be taking photos as well and I will be posting some of them to my blog!!
